Gouverneur Wildcats (Gouverneur, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Massena Red Raiders (Massena, NY), 47-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Gouverneur upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Potsdam (Potsdam, NY) to clash with the Sandstoners in a Section 10 Central bout on Monday, February 6. The Sandstoners go into the bout with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Red Raiders clash with the Chateaugay Bulldogs (Chateaugay, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Massena will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 55-33 league win over Brushton-Moira (Brushton, NY).
