Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY), 53-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 136-365 on the season. The travel to MAST Community Charter (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Panthers in a Bicentennial - Independence bout on Thursday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-5. MAST Community Charter won 61-47 in their recent non-league bout against Cheltenham (Wyncote, PA)
