North Carolina High School Basketball - Ocracoke ripped by Hobgood Charter

The Hobgood Charter Raiders basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Ocracoke Dolphins to 18 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Raiders now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Creek for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Hobgood Charter will meet a Cougars team coming off a 72-28 league loss to Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-14.

The Dolphins (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia (Columbia, NC). The Wildcats enter the 1A Conference 1 contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Columbia was routed by Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC), 48-19, in a league contest.
