The Kirtland Hornets basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Wickliffe Blue Devils to 38 in the Hornets league victory on Wednesday.

The Hornets now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crestwood for a Chagrin Valley - Valley contest on Saturday, February 4. Kirtland will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 35-27 non-league win over Southeast (Ravenna, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-17.

The Blue Devils (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Berkshire (Burton, OH). The Badgers come into the Chagrin Valley - Valley contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Berkshire edged Grand Valley (Orwell, OH), 38-34, in a league contest.
