The New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Lincolnwood Lancers to 33 in the Vipers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vipers now sport a 16-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nokomis for a MSM contest on Monday, February 6. New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly will battle a Redskins team coming off a 76-46 non-league win over Altamont (Altamont, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 25-4.

The Lancers (7-19) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Madison, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, Madison was routed by Staunton (Staunton, IL), 78-12, in a non-league contest.
