Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH), 58-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Indians host Firestone (Akron, OH) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Firestone lost 71-31 in their recent non-league bout against Ellet (Akron, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Tuslaw Mustangs (Massillon, OH) in a Principals bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Manchester will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record.
