The Pilgrim Patriots basketball team (Warwick, RI), was nudged 44-37 in Wednesday's league battle with the host North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI)
The Cougars now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burrillville for a Division 3 battle on Friday, February 3. North Providence will battle a Broncos team coming off a 30-11 league loss to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Broncos record now stands at 3-12.
The Patriots (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Northmen come into the Division 3 battle with a 7-8 record.
