In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Onteora Eagles (Boiceville, NY) basketball squad beat the host Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY), by a margin of 38-26.

The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Ellenville (Ellenville, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 9 MHAL III outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Ellenville defeated Webutuck (Amenia, NY), 48-33, in a non-league outing.

The Ganders now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Red Hook for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3. Rondout Valley will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 64-30 non-league win over Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 7-6.
