New York High School Basketball - Palmyra-Macedon thwarts Penn Yan Academy

The Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Penn Yan Academy Mustangs (Penn Yan, NY), 49-32 in Wednesday's league test.
The Red Raiders (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Wilson Magnet (Rochester, NY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record.
The Mustangs now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Midlakes for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East test on Friday, February 3. Penn Yan Academy will encounter a Screaming Eagles squad coming off a 68-33 league loss to Waterloo (Waterloo, NY). The Screaming Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
