The Spring Lake Park Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Park Center Pirates to 47 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elk River for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Spring Lake Park will battle a Elks team coming off a 77-57 non-league win over Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Elks record now stands at 14-5.

The Pirates (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers (Rogers, MN). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Rogers was defeated by Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN), 63-57, in a non-league contest.
