The Sandy Valley Cardinals basketball team (Magnolia, OH), was routed 61-23 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH)

The Trojans now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian Creek for a non-league battle on Monday, February 6. Tuscarawas Valley will battle a Redskins team coming off a 42-26 non-league win over Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 15-4.

The Cardinals (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Canton Central Catholic was routed by Carrollton (Carrollton, OH), 67-63, in a non-league battle.
