Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Loomis Chaffee School knocks off Frederick Gunn

The Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans ice hockey squad scored 9 points and restricted the visiting Frederick Gunn Highlanders to 3 in the Pelicans league victory on Wednesday.
With the victory, Loomis Chaffee School moves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Pelicans travel to Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA) to face the Penguins in a contest on Friday, February 10. The Penguins go into the contest with a record of 12-9.
The Highlanders now sport a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Millbrook School for a contest on Wednesday, February 8. Frederick Gunn will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Greenwich Country Day (Greenwich, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-6.
