Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT) followers left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT), 3-1 in a league match.

The Martlets (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA). The Big Green enter the match with a 7-9 record. In their last match, Deerfield Academy tipped Winchendon (Winchendon, MA), 3-0, in a league match.

Next up, the Griffins clash with the Berkshire School Bears (Sheffield, MA) in a match, on Wednesday, February 8. Pomfret School will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT).
