Virginia High School Basketball - Bland County thwarts Narrows

The Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) basketball knocked off the host Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA), 49-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bears (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Fort Chiswell went down by Galax (Galax, VA), 35-34, in a non-league test.
The Green Waves now own a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Craig County for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Narrows will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 39-35 non-league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Rockets record now stands at 6-7.
