In Wednesday's league challenge, the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) ice hockey team the host Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT), by a margin of 6-2.
The Beavers now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frederick Gunn for a challenge on Wednesday, February 8. Avon Old Farms will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Taft School (Watertown, CT). The Highlanders record now stands at 14-7.
The Martlets (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Hotchkiss School by Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA), 2-1, in a league challenge.
