The Madison Memorial Spartans ice hockey squad scored 4 points and restricted the visiting Sun Prairie Cardinals to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Madison Memorial moves its record to 9-5 on the campaign.

The Cardinals now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Janesville Craig for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Sun Prairie will face a Cougars squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI). The Cougars record now stands at 7-4.
