The Ashe County Huskies basketball team (West Jefferson, NC), dropped 62-47 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC)
The Wildcats now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Heritage for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7.
The Huskies (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Freedom beat South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 53-49, in a non-league battle.
