The Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 52-48 in Wednesday's league test.
The Trojans (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Clayton got by Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 55-31, in a non-league test.
The Storm now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Corinth Holders for a test on Friday, February 3. Willow Spring will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 64-31 league loss to South Garner (Garner, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-17.
