Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA), 61-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Oak Grove upgrades its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 10-7. Ann Sobrato won 56-47 in their recent league bout against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Chargers play the Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 3. Leland will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 55-44 league win over Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA).
