California High School Basketball - West Park tipped by Nevada Union

The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting West Park Panthers to 55 in the Miners league triumph on Wednesday.

The Miners now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Placer for a contest on Friday, February 3. Nevada Union will meet a Hillmen team coming off a 68-48 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 11-13.

The Panthers (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins enter the contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Ponderosa nudged Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 59-51, in a league contest.
