The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) basketball felled the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), 59-51 in Wednesday's league test.
The Bruins (7-9) will now prepare for their test against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers go into the test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, West Park was beaten by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 57-55, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a test on Friday, February 3. Oakmont will encounter a Fighting Zebras squad coming off a 68-48 league win over Placer (Auburn, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 19-3.
