The South Iredell Vikings basketball team (Statesville, NC), was nudged 42-37 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC)
The Wolverines now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mooresville for a battle on Friday, February 3. West Cabarrus will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 43-31 league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 18-2.
The Vikings (4-14) will now prepare for their battle against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders come into the non-league battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, A.L. Brown edged South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 40-27, in a non-league battle.
