The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA) and the host Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA), saw Maranatha's soccer squad get by Whittier Christian by a count of 2-1.

The Minutemen now hold a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Avalon for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Maranatha will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Liberty Charter (Lemon Grove, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-15.

With the loss, Whittier Christian drops to 13-7 on the season. The Heralds host Western Christian (Upland, CA) to meet the Fighting Lancers in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. The Fighting Lancers come into the test with a record of 10-7. Western Christian lost 3-0 in their recent league test against The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA)
