Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Adams Highlanders (Rochester, MI), 74-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Groves upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Falcons host Seaholm (Birmingham, MI) to clash with the Maples in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Maples go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Seaholm won 44-28 in their recent non-league bout against Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI)

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Oak Park Knights (Oak Park, MI) in a Oakland - Red bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Adams will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 67-43 non-league loss to North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI).
