The Albertus Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Irvington Bulldogs (Irvington, NY), 54-48 in Thursday's league test.

The Falcons (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY). The Yellow Jackets go into the Section 1 Conference 3C test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Hastings got by Yonkers Montessori Academy (Yonkers, NY), 53-28, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dobbs Ferry for a Section 1 Conference 3C test on Saturday, February 3. Irvington will meet a Eagles team coming off a 62-53 league loss to Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 12-4.
