Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Capital City Public Charter School EAGLES (Washington, DC) and the visiting BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC), saw Capital City Public Charter School's basketball squad overcome BASIS by a tally of 73-58.

With the victory, Capital City Public Charter School improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The EAGLES travel to Digital Pioneers Academy (Washington, DC) to confront the Pythons in a PCSAA A challenge on Friday, February 2. The Pythons come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Digital Pioneers Academy won 73-60 in their recent league challenge against KIPP DC Legacy College Prep (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Red Giants confront the Calverton (Huntingtown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. BASIS will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record.
