In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), by a margin of 85-33.
The Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Hornets go into the B South outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Leavitt was trounced by Winslow (Winslow, ME), 65-36, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Winslow for a B North outing on Friday, February 2. Belfast will clash with a Black Raiders squad coming off a 65-36 non-league win over Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Black Raiders record now stands at 9-5.
