Belgreen Bulldogs (Russellville, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, AL), 36-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Belgreen upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Vina (Vina, AL) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-17. Vina lost 72-42 in their recent non-league bout against Brilliant (Brilliant, AL)

Next up, the Indians play the Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Cherokee will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Flame go into the bout with a 14-13 record after their 76-46 non-league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL).
