The Russell Rustlers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Billings Senior Broncs to 53 in the Rustlers league triumph on Thursday.
The Rustlers now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belgrade for a AA Eastern contest on Saturday, February 3. Russell will battle a Panthers team coming off a 48-40 league loss to Great Falls (Great Falls, MT). The Panthers record now stands at 2-11.
The Broncs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Great Falls (Great Falls, MT). The Bison enter the AA Eastern contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Great Falls ran past Belgrade (Belgrade, MT), 48-40, in a league contest.
