In Thursday's league outing, the Bloomfield Christian School Defenders (Bloomfield Hills, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting Washtenaw Christian Academy Wildcats (Saline, MI), by a count of 76-61.

The Defenders (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Livingston Christian (Pinckney, MI). The Falcons come into the Southeast Michigan challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Livingston Christian toppled Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy (Brighton, MI), 84-76, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Rochester Hills Christian (Rochester Hills, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Washtenaw Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 52-43 league loss to Faith Baptist (Davison, MI).
