The Elk Lake Warriors basketball team (Dimock, PA), was overwhelmed 71-50 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA)

The Raiders now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest City for a Lackawanna 4 battle on Thursday, February 8. Blue Ridge will confront a Foresters team coming off a 67-28 non-league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Foresters record now stands at 4-15.

The Warriors (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Montrose (Montrose, PA). The Meteors come into the Lackawanna 4 battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Montrose was overwhelmed by Mountain View (Kingsley, PA), 53-43, in a league battle.
