The Booneville Bearcats basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Cossatot River Eagles to 47 in the Bearcats league victory on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Two Rivers for a 3A Region 4 contest on Friday, February 2. Booneville will battle a Gators team coming off a 58-28 league loss to Hackett (Hackett, AR). The Gators record now stands at 10-14.

The Eagles (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Danville (Danville, AR). The Little Johns come into the 3A Region 4 contest with a 10-17 record. In their last contest, Danville was defeated by Charleston (Charleston, AR), 59-37, in a league contest.
