The Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) basketball knocked off the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), 65-45 in Thursday's league test.

The Knights (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Dukes go into the James River test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Cumberland notched a victory over Fuqua (Farmville, VA), 79-25, in a non-league test.

The Statesmen now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cumberland for a James River test on Monday, February 5. Randolph-Henry will encounter a Dukes squad coming off a 81-65 league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 8-8.
