Colon Magi (Colon, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Burr Oak Bobcats (Burr Oak, MI), 52-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Colon upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Magi host Bellevue (Bellevue, MI) to play the Broncos in a Southern Central bout on Saturday, February 3. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 12-1. Bellevue won 55-49 in their recent league bout against St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI)

Next up, the Bobcats play the North Adams-Jerome Rams (North Adams, MI) in a Southern Central bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Burr Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
