The Paul VI Eagles basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the host Camden Catholic Fighting Irish to 35 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rutgers Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Paul VI will battle a Argonauts team coming off a 73-67 league win over Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ). The Argonauts record now stands at 13-5.

The Fighting Irish (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 19-2 record. In their last contest, Middle Township edged St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ), 70-35, in a league contest.
