Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Warriors (Elkader, IA), 53-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Starmont upgrades its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Lisbon (Lisbon, IA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Lisbon lost 60-59 in their recent non-league bout against North Cedar (Stanwood, IA)
