The Lakeside Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Cleveland Eagles to 40 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a 3A Metro contest on Tuesday, February 6. Lakeside will play a Roughriders squad coming off a 86-48 league win over Chief Sealth (Seattle, WA). The Roughriders record now stands at 18-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Ballard Beavers (Seattle, WA) in a 3A Metro bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Beavers go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 66-48 league win over Ingraham (Seattle, WA).
