Colbert Heights Wildcats (Tuscumbia, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL), 61-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Colbert Heights upgrades its record to 12-13 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tharptown (Russellville, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-10.

Next up, the Bears play the Hackleburg Panthers (Hackleburg, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Phillips will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 66-62 non-league loss to Lynn (Lynn, AL).
