D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dodson Panthers (Dodson, LA), 88-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, D'Arbonne Woods upgrades its record to 13-16 on the campaign. The travel to White Castle (White Castle, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 11-14. White Castle won 65-35 in their recent league bout against St. John (Plaquemine, LA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Central Panthers (Jonesville, LA) in a C District 2 bout, on Friday, February 2. Dodson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-23 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 0-15 record after their 66-24 non-league loss to Monterey (Monterey, LA).
