Dawson County Red Devils (Glendive, MT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sidney Eagles (Sidney, MT), 61-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Dawson County upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Havre (Havre, MT) to clash with the Blue Ponies in a A Northeast bout on Friday, February 2. The Blue Ponies go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Havre lost 78-70 in their recent non-league bout against Billings Central Catholic (Billings, MT)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Custer County Cowboys (Miles City, MT) in a A Northeast bout, on Saturday, February 3. Sidney will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 46-44 league loss to Fergus (Lewistown, MT).
