The DC International Dragons basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions to 39 in the Dragons league triumph on Thursday.
The Dragons now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springdale Prep for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. DC International will battle a Lions team coming off a 86-66 league loss to Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD). The Lions record now stands at 9-9.
The Lions (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Digital Pioneers Academy (Washington, DC). The Pythons enter the PCSAA A contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Digital Pioneers Academy ran past Capital City Public Charter School (Washington, DC), 78-61, in a league contest.
