Magnolia Panthers (Magnolia, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host De Queen Leopards (De Queen, AR), 86-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Magnolia upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Ashdown (Ashdown, AR) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region 7 bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-14. Ashdown lost 60-40 in their recent league bout against Nashville (Nashville, AR)

Next up, the Leopards play the Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Friday, February 2. De Queen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 66-46 league win over Nashville (Nashville, AR).
