The Petersburg Crimson Wave basketball team (Petersburg, VA), was nudged 59-53 in Thursday's league battle with the host Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA)
The Generals now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Varina for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 3. Dinwiddie will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 86-43 league win over Armstrong (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 15-1.
The Crimson Wave (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Hermitage edged Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA), 66-60, in a league battle.
