Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL), 57-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Pearl City upgrades its record to 11-14 on the season. The Wolves host Stockton (Stockton, IL) to clash with the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 7-15. Stockton lost 40-36 in their recent league bout against River Ridge (Hanover, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Durand will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record.
