The East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 53-41 in Thursday's league test.

The Bears (11-20) will now prepare for their test against Piscataway Vo-Tech (Piscataway, NJ). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Piscataway Vo-Tech notched a victory over Somerset Tech (Bridgewater, NJ), 70-57, in a league test.

The Vikings now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro South for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. South Brunswick will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 60-31 league loss to Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 7-12.
