Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hamilton Marines (Hamilton, IN), 63-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Eastside upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Blazers host Fremont (Fremont, IN) to clash with the Eagles in a Northeast Corner bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Fremont lost 68-45 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Wayne Canterbury (Fort Wayne, IN)

Next up, the Marines clash with the Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 60-40 league loss to Frankton (Frankton, IN).
