Pleasant Hill Billies (Pleasant Hill, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Elmira Falcons (Elmira, OR), 74-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Hill upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Billies host Siuslaw (Florence, OR) to play the Vikings in a 3A Mountain Valley bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Siuslaw lost 62-57 in their recent league bout against Sisters (Sisters, OR)

Next up, the Falcons play the La Pine Hawks (La Pine, OR) in a 3A Mountain Valley bout, on Friday, February 2. Elmira will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 69-58 league loss to Creswell (Creswell, OR).
