The Mountain View Eagles basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Forest City Foresters to 33 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montrose for a Lackawanna 4 contest on Monday, February 5. Mountain View will battle a Meteors team coming off a 66-36 league win over Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA). The Meteors record now stands at 3-13.

The Foresters (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Mid Valley was nudged by Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA), 77-52, in a league contest.
