Forest Lake Rangers (Forest Lake, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN), 69-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Forest Lake upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Rangers travel to Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN) to clash with the Bluejackets in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Bluejackets go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Cambridge-Isanti won 76-69 in their recent league bout against Monticello (Monticello, MN)

Next up, the Ponies clash with the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Stillwater will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 73-48 non-league loss to Superior (Superior, WI).
