In Thursday's non-league outing, the Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ), by a margin of 60-53.

The Warriors (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, Union Catholic was tipped by St. Rose (Belmar, NJ), 71-51, in a non-league outing.

The Spartans now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Warren Hills Regional for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 3. Immaculata will clash with a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 54-53 non-league loss to Manville (Manville, NJ). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 10-7.
